The 2012 ISPA State Championships will be held from April 11 - April 15 at the River Center in Davenport. This tournament includes 8-ball and 9-ball singles, 8-ball team events, scotch doubles, and mini-tournaments, and is open to any player in the IC Metro League that has played at least 6 nights of play. You must sign up for all team and singles events through the league. Links to team and singles entry forms are posted below. Completed entry forms and fees are due by Saturday, February 18. All entry fees must be paid by cash or money order (no personal checks). Include entry forms and fees with your weekly stats fee (you can also use a separate envelope), or conact Steve Barnes (319-325-7259) to arrange drop off.

IC METRO TOURNAMENTS: The league will likely hold tournaments on Saturday March 10 and Wednesday March 14 at the First Avenue Club. These could be singles or scotch-doubles. If you have any suggestions, please email us and let us know. Captains, see you emails.
ACS MIDWEST 8-BALL CHAMPIONSHIPS (RIVERSIDE) RESULTS: Several of the league's players and teams did well at the tournament in Riverside last month. Mike Peiffer won the Men's Open 8-Ball Singles out of a field of 155 entries and Tony Le placed 4th. Hillbilly Golfers II and Q-Slingers were the highest placing teams at the 9th - 12th out of a field of 80 teams. Several other individuals and teams from the league placed in the money and for a full listing of the results click here. Congratulations to all of our players and teams who played.
IC Metro 8-Ball Tournament Results: thanks to everyone who showed up for the tournament on Saturday January 7 at the First Avenue Club in Iowa City. We played 1 bracket with 34 players using handicaps. Cory Danger won with Cory Youngblut 2nd, Mike Peiffer 3rd, and Cody Mason 4th.
