Handicaps have been updated and are now being used. New players start with a 7 handicap.
Summer league (in-house at First Avenue Club) has started. We have 10 teams signed up and play will run from May 9 through July 25. We still need subs, so if you are interested in playing, please contact Brett Elder (# below) or send us an email.

IC Metro is running a Wednesday night in-house league at the First Avenue Club (all matches played there - not travelling).
Ira Miller/Chris Hogan will be running a Tuesday night in-house league this summer at the First Avenue Club. Click here for more info.

2013 ISPA Tournament dates: April 3-7 Hotel Flyer
ISPA State Tournament Results: It was a great year for Iowa City Metro teams and individuals at state. Gus' Walk the Talk (Cody Mason, Todd White, Roger Harris, David Gomez, & Trevor Nicholson) won the Level 2 team division, and Hillbilly Golfers (Fred Peiffer, Mike Peiffer, Ben Peiffer, Mark Atkinson, Nate Atkinson) won the Level 1 division. Eric Erwin placed 2nd in the Level 2 men's 8-ball singles and Shawn Gelo placed 4th in the Masters 8-ball division. For a complete list of the results, click here.
IC METRO TOURNAMENT RESULTS:
April 4th: We had a great turnout for a Wednesday night with 34 players entering the singles tournament. Shawn Gelo placed first, with Dan Glasgow second and Luong La third. Thanks to everyone who came out to play!
The league had 20 players show up for the blind-draw scotch-doubles tournament on March 14th, splitting into 10 teams. The team of Mike Reynolds/Steve Villhauer won the tournament, with Shawna Elder/Kris Ackerson placing second, and Steve Barnes/Chris Poula third.
We had 22 players show up for the 8-ball singles tournament on March 10th. Cory Youngblut took first place, with Steve Barnes second, and Mike Reynolds third.
March 28th: There were 19 people that showed up for the singles tournament. Cory Youngblut battled his way back through the loser's bracket after an early loss to claim 1st place. Luong La placed 2nd and Dan Glasgow got third.January 7: We played 1 bracket with 34 players using handicaps. Cory Danger won with Cory Youngblut 2nd, Mike Peiffer 3rd, and Cody Mason 4th.
